You can create a free digital visiting card without Photoshop, a developer, or an Android app. The customer only needs a browser. This walkthrough uses BestDigitalCard and takes most people about two minutes for a first publish.
Before you start, keep these ready
- Business name as you want it on Google and the card.
- WhatsApp number (with country code, e.g. 91).
- A square logo (PNG). Initials are used if you skip this.
- One cover photo of the shop, food, or work - optional but it helps trust.
- UPI ID if you want collections on the card.
Step 1 - Create the account
Open the free signup page. Use a real email so you can recover the card later. Verify the email if asked. This is the owner login, not something the customer needs.
Step 2 - Pick the right template
| If you are... | Use |
|---|---|
| Consultant, shop, agency, realtor | Business card |
| Restaurant, cafe, bakery, cloud kitchen | Menu card |
| Retail, distributor, boutique | Catalogue card |
| Salon, spa, clinic, tutor | Appointment card |
You can switch details later. Start with the template that matches the first action you want (order, enquiry, or booking).
Step 3 - Fill identity and WhatsApp
Add brand name, a one-line offer ("North Indian veg thali from Rs 149"), logo, and WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button is the highest-used action on Indian digital visiting cards. See WhatsApp digital visiting card for pre-filled message ideas.
Step 4 - Add proof
Upload 3-8 photos. Empty galleries look unfinished. For restaurants, food shots beat interior shots. For salons, work photos beat the logo. Turn on the Google review button if you have a Place ID. Guide: Google review card.
Step 5 - Publish and grab the QR
Set the card to published. You get a pretty URL such as bestdigitalcard.com/your-name and a QR image. Print the QR for the counter. Share the link on WhatsApp status and Instagram bio.
Step 6 - Put it where customers already look
- Table standee or menu holder.
- Billing counter and printed bill.
- Packaging sticker.
- Email signature and WhatsApp about section.

SEO on your own card
In the card editor, set a meta title under 60 characters (business name + city or category) and a meta description under 155 characters. Example: Shree Sweets, Nashik | Digital menu and WhatsApp orders. Empty SEO fields fall back to your brand name. Unique titles help each public card show up for the business name plus "menu" or "WhatsApp".
